CHINESE NEW YEAR 2012: DAY 1-3
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
Although it came a little late, but at least I'm here on this blogging space again!
I have changed my name to Sherie in order to match my favourite word "Saccharine". Also to prevent (I hope) people calling my "Cherry", "Cheery" or "Cheryl" and argue with me the pronounciation of it! -.-"
So I decided to come back blogging because I realized that I have waste 1 year + of my memory kept because I am lazy to ...... PHOTOSHOP my fats! So I am ready to diligently photoshop my photos again, and I wanna look back to my blog few years down the road, realizing how much I have grownhorizontally!
2012 CNY is not as exciting as the previous years when I am younger and looking forward to Ang Baos, but I did get a good hectic schedule of meeting some important member and new members in my life!

The family woke up late and had some late lunch + slacking thus we are only able to get out of the house at 5+pm. Talking about loss of enthusiaism!
So while waiting for pretty mummy to get ready, I had a hell lots of time to camwhore (actually trying to get all sorts of angle to hide the fats from the face!). I just bought a Canon HS 220 for casual use, so I have to make full use of it!!!

Ang Baos of the day!
About 7pm, I flew away and met up with Alex aka AX (my boyfriend) and his 2 couple friends, Cindy and Joe, which I met for the first time. Very good singers and sweet couple!
We decided to go Hans at Wilkie Edge for dinner as the couple are fans of it! (I guess) On the way, we saw this "interesting' poster at SOTA introducing their performance.
Cool right!
Anyway, we were all famished and the food for 4 of us...

The couple suggest us to go PS arcade to play the "fishing game" which I initially thought it's a waste of money, while waiting for Keith to arrive as he was late for 1.5hr in the end!
Dragged AX to camwhore with me! Only one turned out nice in the bad lighting condition + we were walking fast!
I guess the couples understand AX very well and know that he don't mind doing this in public! Lucky I'm wearing dress, if not I guess I will be tempted too as well..

So this is the fishing game that was damn fun! AX got super good beginner's luck! Got all the big golden sharks worth 200 points! In the one hour, we wasted $30!!! But it was fun. At the most exciting moments, the arcade staff told us to go :( 2359 closing :(
Feeling sad and disappointed, we move out gathering (with Keith this time) to Mac. And surprisingly we got chased away AGAIN after around 30mins cos Mac is closing too!! Kenna chased twice within an hour.
The story that follows is boring.
The guys thought there were still trains operating to the west but unfortunately, NO!!! So we needa take the NR. We walked all the way to Clarke Quay to take the NR. But the journey was fun, so no complains! I was surprised that I could walk in the high wedges for so long. Haha..
SECOND DAY OF CNY!
Slacked at AX's house for episodes of "Double Happiness" on xinmsn and some random slack activities like sleep and eat! Good Rest!
THIRD DAY OF CNY!
AX's first day of work! Excited to hear about all the things he have to say, so we met up at Orchard to have a good chat while enjoy Chicken Rice at Far East Plaza!!
On the way, obviously oblivious to the crowds walking beside us.
The whole shopping mall is quite empty and of course, the Chicken Rice did not open. We went to have Ayam Penyet Ria instead, it is an outlet open by the Ayam Penyet at Lucky Plaza. :)

We also discovered that Ngee Ann City podium have this big respectable Jade Buddha in display and allowing people to make donations and pray.
